Nelson, Jan. 15. A fire broke out last night in Warren's butcher's shop, near tbe corner of Trafalgar street, when a stable and the straw in the loft were destroyed. The fire was extinguished in a few minutes by a powerful water supply being available. Napier, Jan. 15. Mr Dolbells, on arriving at his outstation at Maungahai'uru, found the woolsbed and some wool burnt. No person was known to have been there for several days. Report attributes it to Hauhaus, Port Chalmers, Jan 15. Arrived — Phoebe, from Lyttelton. Sailed — Wellington, for Lyttelton.
