WOOL REPORT.

A fair number of G-erman and Belgian buyers were present at the ealee. French buyers were absent. At first the prices showed but little alteration, but the absence of the demand of France told prejudicially, and all descriptions of wool usually taken by that country -declined in value. English hayers are operating freely. The sales continue till the 2nd December. The arrivals amount to 153,555 miles, and* the. old stock to 65,000 bales. Up to the 2ndj 39,759 bales passed the hammer, of which 4,000 were withdrawn. The comparative stability bf quotations is surprising. The future course- of prices depends oh Continental affairs, but rates are likely to grow weaker. Combing sorts are easier in rates.
