The 8.8. Bangitoto arrived at the wharf at 9 p.m. on the 9th. Bhe lpfb Hobson's Bay at 7 p.m. on the 23rd, with the English mail for the northeraTpbftion of the colony, and arrived at HoHtika at 2.30 p.m. on the 28th. Transhipped 120 totis of cargo, and left at 10 o'clock the following' morning for Greymouth ; sailed at 4 p.m. same day, -calling at Nelson, Picton, Wellington, Lytte&on, and Timara, and arriving at Port Chalmers at 8-30 pjn. on the 6th inst. Experienced strong head winds during the latter part of the passage.' Sailed from Port Chalmers at 6 p.m., on the Bth, andjinet with strong head winds to this port. .The 8.8. Alhambra arrived at the wharf at 6 p.ffl. on the 10th. She left Hobson's flay at 4.30 p.m. on the sth, and passed through Port Phillip Heads at 7.30 pp.mr. r same day ; Swan Island was passed at 6.30 p.m. same day.
