Bangitoto arrived at the wharf at 7 -a.m. on the 12th inst. She left Hobson's Bay at •5 p.m. on the 27th ult. ; passed through the Heads at 7- 45 p.m. ; experienced fresh easterly winds until the 28th ult., then variable winds •with thick weather and rain were met with until her arrival off Hofcitika on the Ist inst j discharged her cargo and sailed the same day, calling at the Grey, Nelson, Picton, Wellington, Lyttelton, and ■arriving at Port- Chalmers at 12.15 p.m. on the 9th ; sailed for the Bluff and Melbourne at 5.15 p.m. on the 11th, and arrived here as above. The B.s. Alhambra left Hobson's Bay at 3 p.m. on the 7th, and cleared Port Phillip Heads at 6.80. Passed Swan Island at 2 p.m. the following <lay, and experienced light variable winds with fine weather the whole passage ; passed the Solander at 6 a.m. on the 12th, and arrived off 3Muff Harbor at noon, after a fine run of four days. The schooner James Paxton arrived at the "wharf on Monday with a cargo of Grey River •coals (100 tons), 50 Cons being for this Port, the "balance for Riverton. She left the Grey on the Ist, and experienced variable weather on the passage round. TBe brig Alarm sailed yesterday morning for •'Stewart's Island, where she will load a cargo of timber (in the log) for Melbourne. . j
