Cows are quoted at £8 to £14 ; steers, £7 ss; young stock, £3 5s to £558; prime beef ; realises fußy 28s per lOOlbs. Fat ewes, of good' quality, realist from 10s "to 10s ,10d j fair wethers, • irom 10»,6d to 12s ;' ewes and lambs, 7a, 6d-; dry : •ewes, 4s. for horses — Heavy draught,: from £50 to £40; medium dd. £18< to £25; first-class saddle and harness horses, £18 to £25 ; useJul do, £9 to £16 ; inferior>,£4 and upwards.
