Messrs Wright/Stephehson and Co. report for the week ending the 3rbTSeptember, as follows : — Fat Cattle. — Prime quality fetched 25s to 26s per lOOlbs ; inferior do, 15s to 17s 6d, being only a Bhade over store rates. Fat Sheep. — The market remains firm, with scarcely any alteration in price. We sold 500 prime meriao wethers, for delivery, at 3d per lb. We quote prime halfbreds at 3id per lb ; merino do, 3d. Store Cattle. — No transactions. Store Sheep. — The demand for both half-bred and merino wethers continues. We quote. halAbreds 7s 6d to 8s each; merino ; ditto; 6s. 1 Horses. — Heavy draught and upstanding saddle and light harness ~ horses have numerous buyers. We quote first* class heavy draughts^ £45 middling do, £30 to £40 ; : good backs and light harness horses, r£ls to £2S ; inferior do, ftpm £5 to £\O. Grain. — Oats and wheat are in good request, at a slight advance on late rates. We qnote prime samples feed 'oats, 23 lOd to 3s per bushel ; milling ditto, — 3s' 3d to 3s 6d ; ditto wheat, ss.
