Messrs M'Landress, Hepburn & Co held their periodical sale of flax in Dunediu on the Bth inst. The attendance of those interested in the industry was jrather more numerous than on the occasion "of the last sale, and the biddings for the different lots of well dressed samples were more spirited. The auctioneers again repeat that flax dressers must take note that only well scutched fibre will now selL The unscutched lots offered were all passed in, except a few odd bales, which were disposed of at nominal prices, to close accounts.
