Dttnedin, August 1. Between midnight and four this morning, two boxes of treasure were abstracted from the police station at Clyde. They were supposed to contain 2000oz. of gold, and a largo amount of bank notes, probably £3,000. The boxes were locked up in a cell, and two doors were required to be opened to get at them. This morning the outer dopr waß found locked as usual, but the inner one was open. The Bank of New South Wales is the heaviest loser, £2000 in notes, and £5500 in gold.
