NOTICE. npHE "SOUTHLAND TIMES" SUMMABY, .for transmission via San !Trancisco,TOll be published this (Friday) afternoon.
The grand champion ploughing match, to come off to-day at Mr Grieves farm, Branxholme, Wallacetown, will no doubt be a sufficient attraction to secure the presence of a considerable • .number of townspeople on the field. We believe a good turn-out of ploughs may be counted upon, and in any case the contest between the six or serein Veterans who are to compete for the chief prize will in itself be a sight worth witnessing.
