It appeared that the cattle in question, belonging to plaintiff, had trespassed : upon defendant's partially enclosed land, whereupon he drove them off to the Wallacetown pound. "Eis "Worship ruled that the paddock trespassed upon being imperfectly fenced, defendant should. have retained possession of the cattle, and given the owner notice to that effect, when, if not removed within twelve hours, he might have impounded them. Judgment for plaintiff, with costs. Brown v. Scott was a claim for wages. Mr 'Scott had offered plaintiff £114s 6d —the amount he considered due —but plaintiff claimed payment for another week.
