QUEENSLAND.
Bbisb axe, April 12. Six convicts attempted to escape from St. Helenayesterday, but were recaptured. The leader of the revolt was a convicted bushranger, known as the "Wild Scotchman, and he was shot in the arm by one of the warders before he was retaken. April 13. Maxwell, the lighthouse-keeper at Cape Moreton, has been washed off the rock and drowned. —
