It is stated that Mr James Young, of j Kelly, intends to found, in connection with the Andersonian IJniversity, two Technical Chairs and another of Natural Philosophy, towards which he is to devote the munificent sum of 20,000 guineas. The personality of the late Marquis of Westminster — the richest peer in England — has been sworn under £800,000. The real estate is worth as much a year. Here has been found in the library of the Hartley Institution a copy of the first edition of " Paradise Begained," and "'Samson Agonistes," which were licensed in 1670, exactly 200 yeari ago. <
