TT is hereby notified for pubUc information that the Township of Gisborne, situate at Turanganui, Poverty Bay, on land purchased by Government for that from the Natives, wilL be sold by auction, at the Crown Lands Offioe, Napier, on the 13th day of April 1870. Also, on the same day, after the completion of sale of the Town, a number of Suburban Sections situate in the immediate neighborhood of the Township, varying in size from one acre to ten and a half acres, wUI be offered for sale. A Schedule of the Town and Suburban Sections to be submitted for sale wUI be hereafter published. Plans of the Town and Suburban Land can be seen on application at the General Government Agent's Offices at Auckland and Napier, and at the office of the Secretary for Crown Lands, Wellington. J. D. "jaOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that on and after the lst April, 1870, the foUowing uniform rate of charges for telegrams transmitted on the i lines of the New Zealand Telegraph wUI come into operation : — Ordinary telegrams from any station to any station, for the firat ten words, (ls) one shilling ; for evory additional five words, or fraction of five words, (6d) sixpence. Press telegrams from any station to any station, for the first ten words, (6d) sixpence ; for every additional fifteen words, or fraction of fifteen words, (6d) sixpence.
