Per Airedale, from Dunedin— Mr BOlard, Mr John Topi. Per Tararua, for Melbourne — Mr and Mrs Murchie, Mr and Mrs Lapham, Mr Martin, and 9 in the steerage. The M.A. and 3T.Z. Co.'s s.s. Tararua arrived at the wharf at 9 a.m. on the 23rd, from Melbourne and her usual round of New Zealand ports. She left Port Chalmers at 5 p.m. on the 22nd, experienced strong head winds on the passage up, discharged her cargo, received the outward mails, and sailed for Melbourne at 1 p.m. same day. The Circular Saw Co.'s s.B. Airedale, Captain Kennedy, under contract for the conveyance of mails to Auckland, for England via San Francisco, arrived at the wharf at 10.15 ajn. on the 24th; she left Port Chalmers at 3 p.m. on the 23rd, and experienced fresh head winds with' thick weather on the passage up. She will sail at 2 pan. this day, with the first mails from Hew Zealand via the above route.
