Tanton, Pearson, Bell, Menzies, Topi, Mrs Catbuah, Miss Hervey, and five in the steerage; The steamship Claud Hamilton arrived at the wharf shortly after daylight on Friday morning. She left Hobsoa's Bay at 4 p.m. on the 12th inst., and passed through Port Phillip Heads at 7 p.m., and Swan Island at 7 p.m. on the 13th. Experienced fine weather and moderate winds until she entered the Strait's, when strong N.W. gales and rain, with a heavy sea, were encountered ; made the Solanders at 8 p.m., when steam was shuJb off, and she ran down to the port under canvass, and arrivod iere as above. She brings 34_ tons of cargo.
