"Wellington, Feb. 8. The meeting of the K Z. S. N. Co., which was to have been held to-day, was adjourned for a week, in consequence of the argument in the Supreme Court for the issue of a mandamus to the Directors not being concluded. The rule nisi has since been discharged. The Independent authoritatively contradicts the rumor that the next session of the .Assembly will not be held at Welling. | ton. In the Auckland papers, Mr Yogel calls for tenders for the several interprovincial mail services in connexion with the line to San Francisco.
