She left Eohson's Bay at 7 p*m. on the 4th, passed through Port Phillip Heads at 10, Cape Schanck at 11.30 p.m. ; experienced westerly winds during the passage across ; passed' tiie Solander at 8 p.m. on tho 9th ; " racounferetl a. heavy S.W. gale in the Straits, in consequence of which had to slack the engines.
