A CORRECTION.
(to the jeditob op the times.) Sir, — In your report of proceedings at the E. M.'s Court on Tuesday last, in the second suit of "Rose v. Smyth," it is made to appear by the defendant's statement that I was aware before paying for the piano that " certain hindrances were in the way of its immediate delivery." Such, however, was not the fact. It waa only sifter I paid my money that I waa informed by a third party that the delivery of the instrument had been stopped by its former owners, pending the payment of some deficiency. On subsequently applying to Mr Smyth for delivery, I only got* abuse. I then sued for my own, got judgment, but strange to say, I was made to pay my own costs. This may serve as a warning to others to get upon the Bench two respectable Justices of the Peace to try their case. — Tours, &c., K. ______
