Messrs Wright, Stephenson, anH' Co., report for the week ending the 27th inst., as follows ; — ; Fat Cattle.— None" yarded. • The strode continues fully stacked. Prime beef is worth 25s ; middling, 20s to22s6d per lOOlbs. Fat Sheep.— The number brought forward has been much in excess of requirements. We quote prime mutton l£d to 2d per lb, inferior, unsaleable. Fat lambs have realised, at auction, from 7s 6d to 8s 6d each. Store Stock. — We have no sales to record in 1 either sheep or cattle, and for quotations refer to our last report. Horses. — We held two sales during the week, at both of which their was a fair attendance of buyers. Quotations. — Heavy draught, from £40 to £45 ; medium, £28 to £36 ; good hacks and light harness horses, £20 to £25 ; useful, £12 to £17 £4, and upwards.
