The British hnrqne Pea Wave arrived at the Heads parly on the morning of the 6th, and was brought alongside Jhe wharf at high water in the evening. She left Hobart Towd on Monday, the 22nd "ult., and 6hortly after leaving she eneounterpd a Tery heavy gale from the east, ■which continued for lfi hours, with a remarkably low barometer (2888), then strong southerly winds were experienced, until making the Solander Tsland, which was rearherl on Friday evening, the 3rd inst. ; light variable winds continued" in the Straits until her arrival here as above. The barque brings about 120 tons of general cargo from London, besides a shipment of palings, shingles, and jams from Tasmania. The Circular Saw Company's 8.8. Lord Ashley arrived at the wharf at 9.30 a.m. on the 7th inst. She left Onehun^a wharf at 3.15 p.m. on the 25th u'f., crossed the Manatau bar at 5.15 the same night. Experienced fresh N.E. winds to Tarannki,; where she anchored at 5.15 a.m. on the 26th. Sailed at 11.25 a.m., aud had strong S.W. winds and hazy weather, arriving off Nelson at 1.30 a.m. on the 27th. Sailed at 2 p.m. on the 28th, called at Picton and arrived at Wellington at 3.45 a.m. on ihe 29th. Sailed for Lyttelton at 3.30 p.m. on the 2nd inst., and arrived at 9.30 a.m. on the 3rd. Sailed for Port Chalmers at 3.30 p.m. the same day, and arrived at 10.30 a.m. oil the 4th; having light easterly winds and fine weather. Sailed for the Bluff at 4.15 p.m, on the 6th, and had fresh south west win-la, and arrived as above. We are indebted to Mr Pringle, purser, for Northern files.
