Major is by Prince Charlie, imported from Scotland by Mr James Macintosh, of Victoria. Dam by Planet, imported grand-dam by Tom o* Lincoln, also imported. Old Prince Charlie was never beaten in Scotland or the Australian Colonies. Major has been shown twice in Victoria, and gained a first prize each time. He is known to be a sure foal-getter.
