MR LUMSDEN'S MEETING.

(to thb editob of thb times.) Sir, — T was rather surprised at the charge that Mr Lumsden made against you in the Theatre the other night, as I consider the party which you are supposed to support could not be better represented than by your action throughout the present struggle. They have no scheme, no policy, no cohesion — nothiag in fact to meet the emergency ; and how can they expect you to promulgate what they themselves have no brains to devise ? Nothing couid be a better acknowledgment of the weakness of their position than that they should charge you with what they are quite unable to do themselves, viz , to set up even the ghost of an idea. —Yours, &c, Sinbad.
