Per Lord Ashley, from Dunedin — 5 casks sugar, 20 boxes tea, 5 cases geneva, 12 qr-casks brandy, Order; 3 cases drapery, Thomson, Strang and Co. ; 1 ease, 1 bale, Cochran and Blackwood ; 1 case, 1 bale, Cumming ; 2 bales leather, Gellatiy ; 1 case cocoa, 1 pkg rasins, 1 case pickles, 10 bags Bait, 1 pkg twine, Order ; 1 case, 1 truss do, 4 cases drapery, Lewis ; 1 box, Millar ; 1 parcel, J. Stock ; 1 pkg, Wardrop.

The Lord Ashley left the Manakau at 4 p.m. on the 30th nit., and anchored inside the Heads at 6 p.m., finding the weather too heavy to go out. Got under weigh at 4 a.m. next day, arriving at Taranaki at 11 p.m. ; discharged cargo, and sailed at 1 a.m. on the 2nd, arriving at Nelson at 5.30 p.m, ; left at 6 a.m. on the 3rd, arriving at Picton at 2 p.m. ; sailed at 4 p.m. on the 4th, sighted the schooner Canterbury, and made Wellington same day ; left again at 2.30 p.m. on the 6th, arriving at Lyttelton at 9 a.m. on the 7th, leaving at 2 p.m. the same day, arriving at Port Chalmers at 10 next morning ; left at 5 p.m. for the Bluff, where she arrived at 10 a.m. on Saturday.
