IN pursuance of the provisions of an Act of tho General Assembly of New Zealand, intituled " The Regulations of Elections Act, 1858," I, Daniel Shea Lawlor, Returning Officer for the Electoral District of Waianiwa do hereby give notice that, by virtue of a Writ, bearing date the 7th day of September, 1869, issued under the hand of his Excellency the Governor of New Zealand, an ELECTION will be held for the return of a qualified person to serve as a MEMBER of the Provincial Council of Southland, for the said Electoral District, and that the NOMINATION of CANDIDATES will take place at the School House, Waianiwa, on Monday the 11th day of October, 1868, and that the poll (if necessary) \ will take place on Tuesday, the 12th day of October, 1869. j Dated this 20th day of September, 1869.
