(from our own correspondent.) Wellington, 3rd Sept. The Ofcago and Southland Re-union Bill has been thrown out by the Legislative Council on the second reading by 14 to 6 votes. Messrs Menzies and STurse voted with the noes. Parliament was prorogued by His Excellency the Governor to-day, at 1 o'clock.
