The steamship Alhambra, 800 tons, M'Lean, commander, cleared Port Phillip Heads at 6 p.m. on the 20th August ; arrived off Hokitika at 2 a.m. on the 26th, Sailed for Nelson at 4 p.m. on the 28th, and arrived at 12 noon on the 29th ; left at 2 p.m. on the 30th, and arrived at Wellington at 12.15 a.m. on the 31st ; sailed at 2 p.m. same day, and arrived at Lyttelton at 8.30 a.m. on the Ist September ; left at 6.15 p.m. same day, and arrived at Port Chalmers at 1.30 p.m. on the 2nd. Sailed for Bluff Harbor at 5 p.m. on the 3rd, and arrived at 8.30 a.m. on the 4th. «
