The Council sitting on Wednesday evening was wholly taken up in the debate on Mr Calder's motion, being virtually an indictment of the Superintendent by the late Executive. We have in our parliamentary report gn en the spirit of the debate so far as it has proceeded, being unable without excluding other important matter to give a full report. The speeches of the leading members of the late Executive with His Honor'B reply thereto will be at a future time pnbliahed in extemo. - Last evening was occupied with the reply of the Superintendent. The debate m farther adjourned.
