New Yokk, June 14th. Gold is at 1481 premium. General Grant arrived at New York on the 14th, en route for Washington. He was enthusiastically received. At Springfield and Worcester, members of the Spanish Junta, who had been appointed to assist the Cuban insurrection, have been arrested. They were released on bail of 5000 dollars, and were subsequently bound over in the sum of 2500 dollars to keep the peace. It is reported that these arrests were procured by the Spanish Minister, without the knowledge of Secretary Fish. The New York Herald strongly denounces the proceedings, saying that they arise from the timidity and vacillation of the present Government with respect to Cuban affairs, and which have created feelings of distrust in the public mind
