Public Notice* dred, shall forfeit and pay for every such offence any sum not exceeding five pounds ; provided always that a holder of a depasturing license within the Hundred, or any person duly authorised in his or her behalf, may drive such stock for the purpose of collecting such au belong to him or her, and for the free and legitimate use of his or her right of pasturage within the Hundred, but in the event of its being necessary for such purpose to drive any stock belonging to any other person a greater distance than half-a-mile, the person so driving such stock must take them to the nearest available stocdyard, and there separate his own from those of any other persons, and return the latter to the place from which they were driven, and failing to do so shall forfeit and pay, for every such offence, any sum not exceeding five pounds. K. Any person removing stock beyond the boundary of the Hundred, other than those belonging to them, or for the removal of which he shall not have an authority, shall forfeit and pay for every such offeace a sum not exceeding fi\e pouuds. XL Any stock not being the property of, or which are not branded with the registered brand of the holder of the Hcerise under whidh they are depastured or which are depastured on the Hundred, in contraveritidn of any bye-law duly passed, may be impounded, and the owner or custodian of such stock m&y be proceeded against for trespass and shall forfeit and pay for every such offende any suiri not exceeding five pounds. XII. That any person intending to travel with or drive cattle or sheep through the said Hundred into any adjoining Hundred, freehold or leasehold, shall give not less than twenty-four hours notice in writing, stating the numbers, brands, and other particulars of such stodk to the nearest Warden, who, upon being satisfied that such stock are free from disease, shall give a written 1 authority to the owner or party in charge of such stock for driving through the said Hundred ; provided always that the cattle or sheep of bona fide travellers on their journey when turned out be not considered trespassers, if not more than three nights in the same neighborhood, failing to do so, snail forfeit and pay for every snch offence a sum not exceeding five pounds. XIII. That any sheep running upon uninclosed land in the said Hundred shall be removed within twenty-one days of publication of the said bye-laws, also any dattle not being the property of licenseholder^, shall, if not removed within the same peridd, be inipo\uided.and dealt with according to law. XIV. Any person about to bririg cattle on the run, shall, one week before so doing, furnish to the nearest Warden notice in writing, with such information as" shall give opportunity for inspection of the cattle: XV.
