Per Montana, from London — 212 cases merchandise, 2 bales rope, 50 cases bottled beer, order ; 2 cases merchandise, Nurse ; 2 bales paper, Reynolds and Co ; 6 cases merchandise, 140 cases stout, 400 bags salt, M'Pherson and Co ; 1 case effects, Squires j 1 tombstone, Rev Oldham ; 1 pianoforte, Mitchell and Co ; 1 case books, M'Culloch • 1 box merchandise, Cochran, Granger and Blackwood ; 2 cases, Rodgers ; 1 pel, Butts ; 1 do, Paterson ; 60 pkgs merchandise, Calder, Blacklock and Co ; 5 pkgs saddlery, Gellatly ; 648 fish plates, 1234 rails, and other railway plant. Montana, barque, 650 tons, Captain Herriman, left London on the 7th December, had bad weather through the channel ; put into Falmouth, and sailed from thence on the 31st. Crossed the line on the 25th February ; passed the Cape on the 11th April ; encountered strong contrary winds throughout the passage; made the Solanders on Saturday night, and was beating about the Straits till Wednesday evening, 9th inst., when she anchored at Sterling Point.
