The « Daily Times' of the 14th inst., says .— " Enquiry has not revived much to-day, but there is still a fair amount of miscellaneous business going forward, and markets possess a tolerably buoyant feeling. . In. produce there has been more animation, the fine weather bringing a better supply of grain to town, some little demand for shipment simultaneously occurring ; there is, however, no.alteration id values,, quotations • for oats remaining 2s 6d to2s-7d ; barley, 4s 9d te ss; and wheats, 4s 6d to 4e 7d, quiet. At the mills, -town made flour stands at £12 to £12 10s, the demand good. Oatmeal, £15 10s ; and pearl barley at £26. In liquids there has been but httle doing ; moderate parcels of Hennessy's have been moved at 8s 3d, the enquiry for other items not terminating in any sales of moment. ' Teas and sugars have been moved at maintained prices, —of the latter, a considerable sale of 100 barrels (crushed) is reported at a price withheld. Brandon's Nevas continue to move at Is. Kerosene has not been asked for. Several parcels of cornsacks have been placed; the quantity arriring being comparatively considerable, and a? slight; reduction being submitted to. The T and G- flooring ex Peter Denny, is reported as placed* at a substantial advance upon last rates for the same goods. By auction nothing of any moment has occurred.
