WASTE LAND BOARD.

The adjourned meeting of the Board was held at the Land Office on Friday, at 12 o'clock. Present — Messrs Pearson (Chief Commissioner) in the chair, Macarthur, and Dundas. The a^oumed application of Mr Elliott for 2,000 acres was taken rato consideration. Mr Dalgliesh, on behalf of Mr Elliott, and in accordance with the suggestion made by the Chief Surveyor at the previous meeting, altered one of the boundary lines, thus nicreasing the acreage by one hundred acres. The application, in the amended form, amounting to 2,100 acres, was granted. John M'Donald, Mabel District, for 20 acres in the Eoreat Hill Hundreds, was also granted. One from Mr Wm. Eraser, for 100 and odd acres, on the Jounamon Creek, Waimatuku District, ! lapsed, in consequence of the applicant not having ascertained the exact acreage.
