Omeo, Captain Calder, arrived at the Bluff on the 16th inst., at 10 a.m. from Melbourne. Captain Calder reports having left Hobson's Bay at 2 p.m. on the Bth inst., clearing Port Phillip Heads at 6 p.m. same evening. Passed Kent's Group and the Sisters the following day. Encountered brisk eaaterlv aalan inJajiselß untu the mornmg of the loth inst., when a mode, rate S.W. wind prevailed. For the many yeavs Captain Calder has been trading to New Zealand he never before experienced such a continuation of easterly gales. Land sighted at 6 p.m. on the 15th inst.
