A letter from the Tiraaru and Gladstone Road Board was laid on the table of the Provincial Council, Otago, enclosing a resolution of the Board — " That the General Government be petitioned to allow £10,000, part of the amount voted for the Rangitata Bridge, to bo used to meet the vote of the Provincial Q-overnment of Otago towards the coat of bridging the Waitangi."£
