TN pursuance of the provisions of an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand intituled "The Regulation of Elections Act, 1858," I, Johk Hake, Returning Officer for the Electoral District of Invercargill, do hereby give notice that by virtue of a Writ bearing date the Sixth day of April, 1869, issued under the hand of His Honor the Superintendent of the Province of Southland, an ELECTION will be held for the return of a qualified person to serve as a MEMBER of the Pbovincial Council of Southland for the said Electoral District, and that the Nomination of Candidates will take place at the Court House, Invercargill, on Tuesday,- the 20th day of April, 1869, at noon, and that the poll (if necessary) will take place on Wednesday, the 21st day of April, 1869.
