Cbowded Out. — In order to give a full report of the proceedings of the Provincial Council we are obliged to hold orer both leader and locals until our next issue. Exhibition. —It will be perceived from our advertising columns that an Kxhibition of Dissolving Views will be held at the Theatre Royal this evening. Pboyixciax Council. — At the sitting of the Provincial Council last evening, aft?r the disposal of the notices of motion, and before introducing the orders of the d-iy, the Provincial Treasurer expressed the determination of the Government not to proceed with business.; until the House had declared on the question of confidence. He was supported by Mr Armstrong, and, after discussion, the Council adjourned until half-past seven to-morrow (this) evening. "Wallacetown Eacecottese. —We had the pleasure of jnspectingjthe^nevr rajse^cpujge mirably chosen, and evinces both taste and judg. ment on the part of the Stewards. The Grand Stand far exceeds anything o- the kind yet attempted in the Province, and commands a fine view. Saddling paddocks, Steward's Room and Judge's Stall, reminds one of the old English coursi s, whibt the beautiful scenery in the vicinity is an additional attraction to those bent on enjoying themselves in picnicing. It i-* to be hoped that a general holiday will be observed during, at least, one of the days set apart for racing.
