The Eangitoto leaves the Bluff for Melbourne at 4 a.m. to-uiorrow. 'lhe s.s. Kangitoto left Melbourne on the 19th ult. ; experienced fine weather throughout to Hokitika ; arrived there on the 24ti, was ten. dered on the 25th, and left for the Grey ; left the Orey on the 26th, for Wellington direct, and arrived at Wellington on the 27th j left Wellington on the 28th for Lyfctelton, arrived on the 29th ; left Lyttelton on the 30th for Dunedin, and on the 3lst, in consequence of holidays and bad weather, was detained until 4th iaat, on •which date she sailed for the Bluff, and arrived at 1230 p-m. this day ; experienced strong S.W. gales since leaving Dunedin. The M.A.. and N Z.B.N. Co.'s s.s. Gothenburg, Captain Underwood, arrived at the wharf from Melbourne at 5 p.m. on the 3 1st ult. She left Hobson's Bay at 4 p.m. on the 26 Mi, passing Port Phillip Heads at 7, Cape Shanek at 8.30 the same night, and Swan Island at 7 p.m. nest day. Experienced fine weather and westerly winds during the passage, passing the Solander at 11 a.m. on the 31st, and arriving as above. The Gothenburg brings the New Zealand portion of the Suez mail, as well as 100 tons of cargo for this port, 90 tons for Dunedin, and 40 tons for Lyttdlton.- She has also 20 of tfapi . Stack's volunteers for the front. Having landed her passengers, mail, an 1 cargo, she s tiled for Otago and Northern Ports at 4 p.m. on the Ist inst.
