These gloves are reserved for evening wear, and contain a kind of pomade which whitens the skin, and gives to the hand a most beautiful appearance when the glove is removed. Pilchabds. — Upwards of 350 hhds. of pilchards were caught on the Cornish coast in the week ended on Tuesday.
