Loneon, Oct. 26. The Adelaide and Sydney loans have been successfully negotiated. For the latter, offers to the extant of one million were sent in above 98. The colonial stocks are advancing. The Panama mail service is to be continued under new directors. Tallow and hides are advancing. For fine wools an improved demand is shown.
- Severe earthqnakes have taken place at San Francisco. The City-hall and several other buildings were destroyed. The Eichard, for Wellington, was run down; all hands saved. , -:• i.
