A desire has been very generally expressed for the publibation of an Annual Almanac and Directory for this Province Messes Reynolds & Co. have therefore to announce that arrangements have been made to publish a work of the above description. The first number will appear in December next. As a work of reference to the business portion of the community, the importance of a reliable Directory cannot be over-estimated. The farming community will find useful and necessary information contained in the proposed work; and as a guide book to nautical men, in , obtaining sailing directions, tides, signals,- &e.f the Directory will supply a long-felt want. ." :■ ' ■ The volume will contain an epitome of the history and position of the Province, its resources, acreage, land regulations, and further information of general interest.
