A desire has been very generally expressed for the publication of an Annual Almanac . and Directory for this Province Messrs Retookds & Co. have therefore td announce that arrangements have been made to publish a work of the above description; Thel first number will appear in December next; As a work of reference to the business portion 1 of the community, the importance of a reliable Directory cannot be over-estimated. The farming community will find useful and necessary information contained in the proposed work, and as a guide book to nautical men, in obtaining Bailing directions, tides, signals, &C., the Directory will supply a long-felt want. The volume will contain an epitome of the history and position of the Province, its resources, acreage, land regulations, and further information of general interest.
