The New York papers report that Mr P. T. Barium ran a foot race on the 14th August, at the Profile-hbiwe, New Hampshire 1 . He had several competitors, but distanced them all, after which he was borne from the field on the shoulders of the crowd. Several thousand spectators witnessed the race. The Geologists' Association has now under consideration the possibility of establishing a museum, to form a local geological museum of the details of the London district.
