Per Otago s.s., from Melbourne — Cabin: Mrs Aylmer, Messrs Gunn, Nathan, and family (7), Salaman, Chambers, and Young, and 2 in steerage. Per Otago, s.s., for North — Cabin: Messrs Mentiplay, Matthew, Porter, Mr and Mrs Cunningham, and 2 children, Capt. Howell, Misses Howell, (2), Rev. Stobo, Baker, and Wrigg, and 5 in steerage. The PJN.Z. and A.R.M. Co.'s s.s. Otago "W. J. O. Symons, R.N.R., Commander, arrived from Melbourne at 8 a.m. on 16th inst; the Otago left Melbourne at 3 p.m. on the 10th ; passed Port Phillip Heads at 6 p.m., and Swan Island the following evening at 6.15 p.m., experienced throughout the passage strong south east gales, passed the Solanders at 10 p.m. on the 15th; and arrived at Bluff as above. Discharged -49 tons cargo, and passengers, and sailed at 4 p.m. same day for Otago. The Otago left Melbourne with one of the largest cargo she has ever taken for the New Zealand Ports, and has a full compliment of passengers.
