Times Office, Thursday Evening, The following are the Customs returns for — Wednesday, Not. 11.
The c Daily Times,' 7th Not., reports :— The import markets hare not been particularly retire to-day; but a fair amount of miscellaneous trade has been going forward. A faint disposition to reaction may be detected in several staples, though no present alteration in values, the maintenance or improvement of rates depending, more than anything else at present, upon some briskness attending extra provincial trade. In breadstuff's there is no change to note. Sales have not exceeded currant wants, prices as last •quoted. In liquids, transactions have also been light, the items transpiring being a line of Barday's stout at 7s 6s, and a few packages TenBent's ale at 9s. Some small lots of Hennessy's brandies, at prices exhibiting rather a wide range of quotations; and common sherries at L 6 5s per qr-cask. JSalt —fine and coarse —has been quitted at 80s; Whybrow's pickles, at lls ; soft soap, at £46 10s; also some parcels of yellow cryßtala, at full prices. At Messrs M'Landress, Hepburn, and Co.'s rooms, about 40 crates of earthenware were offered by. auction, and disposed of at satisfactory prices.
