Attempts have been made to upset the present Grovernment. Q-aribaldi has resigned his seat in Parliament. Another invasion of Rome is apprehended. The Mont Cenis Bailway was damaged by sfcorms and landslips, but has been restored to working order. Victor Emmanuel narrowly escaped death when hunting the chamois. A mass of rock gave way. The King was saved from falling down a precipice by a shepherd catching his coat. The King gave his preserver a pension for life.
