Mr Dalbympjde to ask the hon. member for the New Eiver, " whether it was his intention, during the present session of Council, to comply with the desire of hia constituents, expressed at a public meeting held at Wallacetown ; last month, namely, " That the representative of the New Eiver District in the Provincial Council, move for a return specifying the respective duties of the officials in the whole of the departments of -the Local Government, and also to ask the Executive to furnish particulars of the work performed by each official during the last six months."
