The latest intelligence from JNapier is to the effect that the runaway Maoris had crossed a branch of the Wairoa river on Tuesday last, and are now in the TJriwera country, out of reach of our forces. The rebels have successfully carried all their baggage, booty, and arms with them. Active measures are being taken to suppress the rebellion. Nothing of imporfcancein. the" Gl-eneral Assembly. Great hopes are entertained of the richness of the Auckland goldfields. The news from different sources continues good.
