Telegraphic Despatches

■Wellington, Friday. — At the Evening Sitting, Messrs Jollie, Bichmond, Ludlam, Brandon, Stafford, Collins, Campbell, Eeatherston, and Bunny, spoke on the Address. The speeches were, on the whole, very languid. Mr Fox will be unable to reach Wellington until Tuesday. A great amount of disappointment has been felt at Mr O'Neill, being appointed Acting Chairman of Committees. The Bill authorising Mete Kingi to take his seat has been passed. The House adjourned at 9 o'clock to Tuesday, the 14th. — No news from Patea.
