ARRIVAL OF THE "RAKAIA," AT WELLINGTON WITH THE ENGLISH MAILS, VIA PANAMA.
I (From the "Daily Times," Juno 24.) I Wellington, 9 a.m. The s.B. Bakaia, with the English Mail, arrived at three o'clock this morning. She left Panama on the 24th May ; had no communication with Opara ; she experienced severe head winds. Pabsengebs: For "Wellington — Miss Gibson and servant, Mr and Mrs Boyer and four children, Messrs Morrison, Taylor, and Hymer. For Auckland — Messrs Graham and Whitaker. For Napier — Mr Crosthwait. For Nelson — Mrs Braithwaite and child. For G-rey-mouth — Mr Abbot. For Otago — Messrs Gribble and "Weedon, Reverend Mr and Mrs Alves and five children. For Canterbury — Mr and Mrs Alfred Mellish, Miss Agnes Smith, Miss C. E. Miller, Mrs Leslie Thomson, two children, and servant, Mr A. Thomson. For Sydney— Bey. P. Young, Mr and Mrs Yerny, infant and servant, Mrs Hind, Lieutenant Grant, Miss Denman and servant, Mr Trousseau, Misses Mansfield and Scott, Mr Strange. For Melbourne-— Messrs Dobson, Cochrane, and Forder.
