TN pursuance of the provisions of an Act of the -*■ General Assembly of New Zealand, intituled the " Regulation of Elections Act, 1858," and of the "Maori Representation Act, 1867," I, Alexander Mackay, Returning Officer for the Southern Maori Electoral District, by virtue of a Proclamation, bearing date the first day of June, 1868j issued under the hand of His Excellency the Governor of New Zealand, extending the time allowed for holding the ELECTION of a MEMBER of the House of Representatives for the Southern Maori Electoral District aforesaid, until the fifteenth day of July, 1868, do hereby giva notice that a poll will be- held at the School House, Ruapuko, on Saturday, the twentieth day of June, 1868.
